Kamaji WIP

Sorry for my lack of knowledge (or devotion) of picture taking. Three-dimensional things are hard to photograph.

Anyway, as you can see, this is a work in progress (for anyone who doesn't know, that's what WIP stands for, it took me the longest time to figure that out) of Kamaji - slave to the boiler that heats the baths! He's a six-armed boiler man from the wonderful movie Spirited Away. I encourage all to watch it with an open mind and an innocent spirit. Kamaji is totally one of my all-time favorite characters from it (and Chihiro, and Lin, and Haku, and No-Face, and . . .).

This is actually a comission-ish trade thing I'm doing for my sister ~greenemegan. We have this agreement that when we go out and she buys me things (like really good, really expensive sandwhiches) then I, being the penniless person I am, pay her back in any pieces of art she wants. This fee also came with a picture of her and The Doctor, which I'll post soon.

I had originally planned on making a tutorial with this, but then I had already gotten this far and I hadn't taken any pictures, so . . . have a half-finished Kamaji instead. Speaking of, though, I was curious as to whether any of my few but kind watchers would be interested in a tutorial of the way I do these kinds of dolls. At the moment, I just want to make a tutorial because I think it would be fun to do, but if you guys are actually interested, I'd definitely put more thought and time into it.
